Theo Hodge, MD

Dr. Theo Hodge is the dedicated physician and Medical Director of the Washington Health Institute. He completed a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the Washington Hospital Center/Washington Veterans Affairs Medical Center and completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University/Washington Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Dr. Hodge earned his Medical Degree at the University of Virginia. Dr. Hodge brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Washington Health Institute.
Dedicated to partnering with patients to enhance and maintain their quality of life as it relates to their medical health, Dr. Hodge is especially interested in the study and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases. He is very active in the community promoting sexual health and an outspoken proponent of HIV prevention. Dr. Theo Hodge views his role is to educate patients about the options they have to address their medical concerns and views patients’ role is to actively participate in their healthcare. He finds true joy in building relationships with his patients, and the opportunity to meet their children and grandchildren!
Outside of the office, Dr. Hodge can be found enjoying time with his partner, family and friends. He also enjoys traveling to exotic lands and an evening at the theatre or movies. He loves that Washington D.C. offers everything he enjoys including fine dining, theatre, museums, shopping but most of all his family! A fun fact about Dr. Hodge is that he likes bowties!
