Gloria Macrae, BS, MPH
Clinical Operations Assistant
Gloria Macrae joined WHI in April 2026 as an Operations Clinical Assistant, where she is dedicated to supporting efficient clinical operations and providing a positive, patient-centered experience. A lifelong resident of the DMV area, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Washington Adventist University and a Master of Public Health from The George Washington University.
Gloria supports patient coordination, scheduling, medical records management, clinical documentation, and administrative workflows. She takes pride in being detail-oriented, approachable, and compassionate, and is committed to ensuring patients feel welcomed, supported, and cared for throughout their experience at WHI.
Beyond healthcare, Gloria is passionate about giving back to her community. She volunteers with church food banks and supports the founder of Be Rose International Foundation, Inc. She is also the founder of her nonprofit organization, Gifted Hands, an initiative dedicated to supporting children in need by providing backpacks, school supplies, and school lunches to children in Sierra Leone and Ghana.
Gloria’s commitment to youth mentorship and community service has been recognized with a medal from former Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot for her efforts to mentor children and help create safe and supportive spaces for youth throughout Capitol Heights, Largo, Upper Marlboro, and Takoma Park, Maryland. Through both her professional work and community involvement, Gloria is passionate about serving others and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those around her. She brings the same spirit of service, compassion, and dedication to her work at WHI, where she is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and the community.
