Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Ilana Browning is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a strong commitment to providing high quality psychiatric care to all members of the community. She earned both her master and doctorate degrees in nursing from University of Maryland. Ilana also holds a bachelors in biology. Ilana recently completed a fellowship for psychiatric nurse practitioners at UC Davis, where she trained in diverse clinical settings including substance use disorder treatment, adult behavioral health, emergency psychiatry, and collaborative care. Her clinical interests include mood and anxiety disorders, trauma disorders, and management of chronic mental health conditions. She is passionate about providing trauma-informed care and approaches every patient interaction with empathy, safety, and respect. Ilana believes that quality psychiatric care begins with a strong, trusting relationship between the patient and clinician.
