Jennifer Zelaya has enthusiastically served the WHI patients as a medical assistant since June of 2020. Born and raised in Washington, DC, she proudly claims herself as an “Uptown DC” Washingtonian with Salvadorean roots. She graduated from Medtech College in 2011 where she earned her Medical Assistant Certification. Her dream is to further assist the community as a future Registered Nurse. Her passions are family, dancing, and experiencing a variety of cultures by traveling and meeting new people. Working at Washington Health Institute has allowed her to learn different cultures and beliefs, all while serving the community in the most positive and healthiest way.
