Evar Sandoval
Evar is a Non-Medical Case Manager at the Washington Health Institute.
Mr. Sandoval has served the Washington, DC LGBTQ+ community for more than 20 years. His diversified, comprehensive experience includes HIV/AIDS community outreach and work as a Latino activist.
He holds many certifications, including: English/Spanish Certified Medical Assistant, Certified HIV/AIDS Counselor/Tester, and Certified National HIV/AIDS Peer Educator for Children, Youth, and Families by Ryan White HRSA.
He was the founder, developer, and instructor at the first bilingual health educator and medical assistant program funded by the DC government. In addition, Evar has worked as a case manager, in home health care, and as an educational programs coordinator.
