Grace Moore, LICSW
Grace Moore is Director of Behavioral Health Services in the Center for Community Health and Wellness
Grace Moore is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington, DC, with a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Maryland School of Social Work. She is a trained EMDR therapist and has extensive experience applying evidence-based approaches, including CBT and DBT, to support healing and growth. Grace is especially skilled at integrating these modalities in creative, innovative ways to meet the unique needs of each client.
Her clinical experience spans work with individuals and families across the lifespan, addressing concerns such as addiction, depression, anxiety, PTSD, racial identity and stress, and complex trauma. Grace’s practice is rooted in a social justice, anti-oppressive framework, drawing on principles of liberation psychology to empower clients from all backgrounds.
In addition to her clinical work, Grace has held leadership roles in private practice and clinical supervision, mentoring other mental health professionals. She is passionate about expanding access to mental health care and dismantling stigma around seeking support.
Outside of the therapy room, Grace finds joy in traveling and exploring new ideas and adventures with her children.
