Jerry is Senior Director, Community Health and Wellness Center

Jerry Monroe serves as Senior Director of the Center for Community Health and Wellness at Washington Health Institute, where he oversees operations and strategic growth across behavioral health, case management, holistic care, early intervention, wellness programs, and outreach services. His work bridges the fields of community health, education, and workforce development.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Monroe has held senior leadership roles including Director of Certification and Testing at NAADAC, Associate Vice President of Workforce Development at the Home Builders Institute, and Chief Academic Officer at Contemporary Family Services. He also served as Director of Postsecondary and Nonpublic Schools Accreditation with AdvancED, where he specialized in curriculum development and global institutional accreditation. He has led or participated in more than 200 accreditation site visits worldwide and serves on numerous advisory boards and advocacy coalitions focused on education, community health, human rights, and professional development.

A proud graduate of Grambling State University and Northeast Louisiana University, he credits both his academic training and life experiences with inspiring his commitment to building systems that better serve diverse communities.

Outside of work, he enjoys traveling with his spouse, interior design, real estate flipping, and special cuddle time with his poodle, Samson.
