VAUGHAN ANTHONY HOLLAND

May 3, 1990 – June 15, 2022

On June 15, around 8 pm, our dear friend and colleague, Vaughan Holland, was called home to be with the Lord.  Vaughan was only 32 years old.  He leaves behind his wife Kayla, and his little girl Savannah, his parents, his sister, his dog Kylo Ren, extended family, and a world of friends who loved him. Our hearts go out to them.

Our Clinical Research Coordinator was a proud Howard Bison and member of the Omega Psi Phi Brotherhood who went on to earn his Master’s degree in Biomedical Science from Duke University School of Medicine in 2020.

Vaughan was quiet and kind and had talents and skills many of us may not have been aware of. Prior to joining WHI he worked as an EMT, a high school teacher, and as an analyst for the Maryland Amphibian and Reptile Atlas (MARA). Vaughan was a lover of his family, motorcycles, food, dogs, and building things by hand. He was big on Peace, Good Vibes, and Positive Energy and he left his positive spirit with everything he touched and all those he crossed paths with.

Vaughan will be greatly missed.
