Grace Tavakkol, MSN, RN
Grace is a Clinical Research Nurse at the Washington Health Institute.
Grace has a BA in Biology from Vassar College and a Master’s in Nursing from the University of Virginia. Before attending nursing school, Grace worked in clinical research focusing on the development of dermatological therapies. After becoming an RN, Grace worked as an organ transplant nurse on a post-surgical transplant unit, where she cared for patients during their recoveries immediately post-transplant. She also loves reading and writing, and she has worked as a writing tutor for several years. She is passionate about patient advocacy and education, and she is particularly interested in the development of new treatment modalities for chronic illnesses.
