Jackie Zamora is family nurse practitioner who has dedicated the past ten years to providing high-quality care to vulnerable populations in the region.  Jackie has roots in the community, dating back to her time as nursing student at The Catholic University of America (CUA) in Washington, D.C. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from CUA and her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from The University of Pennsylvania with a focus in women’s health. She holds a Healthcare Management Certificate from The Milken Institute School of Public Health at The George Washington University.

Her professional interests include women’s health, diabetes and hypertension, aesthetic medicine, and dermatology. Jackie is trained to provide comprehensive gynecological services including contraception management, insertion and removal of all intrauterine devices (IUDs) and hormonal implants, endometrial biopsies, and colposcopies as well as minor skin procedures and joint injections.

In clinical practice, Jackie believes every person deserves accessible, high-quality, evidence-based care. She finds fulfillment in empowering patients with knowledge to become active agents in their care and in collaborating with colleagues to meet individual needs.

Outside of the office, Jackie values rest and spending time with loved ones. She is an avid traveler but can also be found enjoying the city’s food scene. She takes pleasure in spending time outdoors, listening to podcasts, sipping on iced vanilla lattes, and eating ice cream.

Jackie is fluent in Spanish and is eager to provide women’s health services at Washington Health Institute.
