Kassandra McGlonn, DrPH, CHES

Kassandra is Director of the Holistic Care and Resource Center at the Washington Health Institute.

Dr. Kassandra Lynn McGlonn is a senior public health expert that specializes in program administration and contract/grant management. She provides services to agencies in the areas of program development, non-profit management, government program management, infectious disease control, health behavior modification research, and community outreach. After spending over a decade in the field of public health gaining experience at non-profit, corporate, and government levels, Dr. McGlonn has much experience in identifying and filling knowledge, programmatic, and service gaps. She also develops and innovates intervention methodologies while employing cultural and generational competence for greater effectiveness in servicing diverse populations to reduce health disparities.

Dr. McGlonn has developed health curriculums; designed, supported, and conducted quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods research for various types of stakeholders; presented at multiple regional, local, and national conferences; overseen state HIV/AIDS councils; and managed Florida’s HIV/AIDS strategic plan.

Dr. McGlonn holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Temple University, a Master of Science in Disaster Medicine and Management from Thomas Jefferson University, and earned a Doctor of Public Health from Florida A&M University in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. She has graduated with honors and is a member of multiple national and international honor societies.
