Lonnisha Lewis is originally from Shreveport, Louisiana. She relocated to D.C. to serve in the Armed Forces. She received her MSW from Tulane University in August 2022 and her BS in Psychology from University of Maryland University College. Prior to WHI, she worked in Community Support assisting clients diagnosed with serious mental illness, compounded health conditions and substance abuse. Lonnisha’s passion is to encourage and empower others. Outside of work, you can catch her hanging out with her dog, enjoying outdoor sports, and watching international shows.
